The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) new Clean Energy Talks series and a University of California San Diego-led Career Fair with scholars from the college's world renown Jacobs School of Engineering launched a three-day Advanced Reactor Summit VI in California.
The Summit includes keynotes from the DOE, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission and the Gateway for Accelerated Innovation in Energy. Featured panels include very small to mega reactors, advanced fuels, global initiatives, modeling and simulation and the nexus between fission and fusion. Summit highlights include 15 Trailblazer and Special Updates.
The Advanced Reactors Summit VI and Technology Trailblazers Showcase is organized under the auspices of the U.S. Nuclear Industry Council and in conjunction with UC San Diego and General Atomics.
